Terms & Conditions

JG PIXELS : TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

“The client(s)” shall be those persons defined in the booking form. In the following terms & conditions “the photographer” shall mean any member of staff from JG Pixels. It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this contract and cannot be varied in any way by the client(s) unless such conditions are expressly agreed by the photographer in writing. By booking with the photographer, you agree to the below Terms and Conditions.

All copyright of photographic images belongs to JG Pixels.

 

Use of your images on the web

 

You are not permitted to remove the logo or edit the images (changing colours, or removing part of the image). High resolution images (JPEG) without logo are for print only use. You cannot enter any of your images in competition (online or otherwise). Prints – When purchasing prints, you cannot scan the print into another print or a digital image. You can purchase the digital images separately.

 

Studio Sessions

 

Adults, deemed over 18 years old may book a session/shoot at our studio. If you are under 18 years old, you are required to attend with a responsible adult.

 

Payment for session/shoot and products Session/Shoot fee:

 

Full payment is required at the time of booking; the appointment can be changed up to 5 working days before the photographic session.

 

Booking fees/Shoot Fee are nontransferable and nonrefundable.

 

No show: If for any reason after receiving your confirmation, you fail to attend your shoot (or do not give the required notice), you will forfeit your full booking fees. You are entitled to a maximum of one appointment change (up to 5 working days before your appointment) after which your booking fee will be lost.

 

Products:

 

Products are payable during shoot session (Card / Cash / ApplePay / Google Pay). Once your payment for your order has been made, it cannot be cancelled, amended or refunded. Please note editing work on your order will commence once your payment has cleared. Products will be posted to you, directly from our supplier, within a reasonable timescale (Approximately 3 weeks in “normal time” but may be up to 6 weeks during periods of high demand). You will not be entitled to a refund of the photography session should you decide not to purchase any of the images.

 

Artwork Proof

 

For your artwork, we provide a proof (by email) for you to approve before we send it for printing. This is to ensure the design agreed during your session, including any small changes agreed with your photographer, but will not facilitate a change of mind to the artwork already agreed. The contract is agreed when the payment for your order is made. Please note that any revision may affect the timescale for delivery of your products. You will have 8 working days to approve your artwork, longer on request, but if we have not heard further from you, we will assume that you are happy to proceed and process your order.

 

Flashing Lights

 

We use light photography to take the macro images of the Iris. Anyone sensitive to lights should not proceed i.e. (Photosensitive epilepsy, etc) with an Iris shoot. We will not be held responsible for any issue that occurs regarding the use of direct light during the photo shoot.

 

Children

 

We recommend that children aged 5+ years can attend an Iris shoot. However, the child should be able to manage staying still and focused long enough to stare at the camera. Within a photographic session we are not responsible if a child will not comply, but will make every effort to ensure the child is calm and relaxed, but cannot offer any refunds if we are unable to produce an image for this type of scenario.

 

Modifications to the Service and Prices

 

Prices for our products and services are subject to changes without notice.

 

Postponement Due to Adverse Weather/ Equipment failure/ Staff illnesses

 

If the appointment has to be cancelled by JG Pixels due to adverse weather conditions/equipment failure/staff illnesses a new, mutually agreed appointment will be made with no additional charge. If it is not possible for you to make another appointment, we will honour the refund your session fee. We will not reimburse any other personal costs (travel / hotel) and would advise you to check any travel insurance policy you may have for this.

 

Digital Files

 

When the client purchases digital files, the client is responsible for the safekeeping and storage of it and it is recommended duplicate copies are made. Requests for further digital image duplications of the photograph will incur additional charges. Digital files are provided as JPEG only, edited in the format provided.

 

Cameras of any kind are not permitted at our shoot.

 

JG Pixels will keep your images on file for at least six months after which your images may be deleted.If JG Pixels has to cancel the appointment for reasons beyond their control (death, injury, sickness, etc.), their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.

 

In the event of any situation outside of our control (coronavirus, storm, fire, etc) we will postpone the sessions and reschedule at our next mutual availability.
